Two-criteria decision grid

This page scores one everyday work ask on two numbers you can say out loud: effort to do it, and alignment with the work you already meant to finish. It does not hire, spend money, or replace a manager. Scores stay in this browser.

Fill one ask

  1. Write the ask in one sentence.
  2. Effort is 1 (under half an hour), 2 (a focused block), or 3 (it pushes other work off the week). Illustrative example: answering a known question is often a 1.
  3. Alignment is 1 (unrelated), 2 (adjacent), or 3 (it is the work you already named for this week).
  4. Read the box, then either reply, schedule, or decline. The grid does not send the message for you.
